I am associate professor in mechanics at the University of Toulon. I’m teaching in the engineering school of Toulon (SeaTech). My research activities, at the Institut de Mathématique de Toulon (IMATH), could be designed as “computational mechanics” (see my publications). Actually, I develop some numerical tools, applied to wave propagation, wave breaking, erosion, fluid-structure interactions and non-saturated flows in porous media. Actually, I am working on the development of two numerical codes.
The first one is a 3D parallel finite volume code with adaptive mesh refinement dedicated to the simulation of free surface flows with erosion: CERF (Computation, ERosion & Flows).
The second one is a 3D discontinuous finite element code dedicated to the simulation of non-saturated porous media flows, shallow water flows and their coupling: RIVAGE.
